There is a saying I like to think about occasionally,
"Sisters are like lady bugs. They're both ladies and they bug each other."
Honestly, sisters can be really annoying or mean at times.... But it's not the case at my house.
I only have one sister; and I couldn't ask for a better blessing.
I'd like to share one incident that happened this very night.
My mom asked me, my brother, and my sister to take out the trash and recycling. It started pouring. As soon as I helped get the trash into the garbage can, my brother ran inside. I stayed to help my sister. She could've just told me to put the recycling away by myself, she knows I would have done it. But she stayed, and she saved me. I was trying to get into the big can and smash down the recycling. It was raining hard and the tricycle I was as using to get up into the can slipped (I know, I know, using a tricycle wasn't the smartest idea). I was hanging off the garbage can, I couldn't get down. I was stuck, and I was laying on a scar from my stomach surgery. If I she hadn't gotten that tricycle under my feet, I could have ripped open my scar or fallen and hit my head on the concrete. After we finished, we walked inside happy and laughing.
My sister doesn't realize that she saved my life today. She doesn't realize that she is the angel in my life. Sure, we have fights like all good siblings do, but she's always there for me. Guys, say I love you to your sister. She does amazing things for you. It can be from writing you sweet notes to saving your life.
Kat, I love you!
